I bought the boxed disc copy, I think haven’t installed a game like that since Baldur’s Gate – 7 DVDs and after over an hour of installing I still can’t play the damn game, the launcher downloads some more 10 gigabytes.
why did I buy this game anyway?
I’m surprised you got that many DVDs. The usual procedure is to include a single DVD with Steam and enough files to fill the disk. You’re expected to download everything else. How considerate of them to leave only 10 gb.
I guess games are so huge now that this is all they can really do. Blu-ray would help a little, but it never got to be a done deal on PCs.
Also, the Baldur’s Gate install was comedy gold.
Also, I don’t understand why you bought GTAV when Duke Nukem Forever is 80% off.
